The<\/span> Fun(d) for Life – Edisi Uni (FFL-Uni)<\/i><\/b> programme aims to empower B40 youths with practical financial management skills through financial literacy training and coaching, preparing them to responsibly manage a <\/span>RM3,000 cash transfer grant<\/b> upon completion.<\/span><\/p>

Launched in January 2025, the programme targets <\/span>500 Malaysian students<\/b> aged <\/span>18\u201324<\/b>, currently studying in colleges and universities under MoE and MoHE, and coming from <\/span>B40 households<\/b>. The programme aims to positively impact <\/span>10,000 beneficiaries<\/b> nationwide.<\/span><\/p>

To ensure meaningful engagement and stronger peer support, the 500 students will be divided into <\/span>7 cohorts<\/b>, each based on different regions to ensure equal access to opportunities.<\/span><\/p>

Each cohort will participate in <\/span>3 months of training<\/b>, followed by <\/span>3 months of grant management<\/b>, which includes a post-programme survey and interview to assess the sustainability of their financial habits. In partnership with the <\/span>ASEAN Research Center, Asia School of Business (ASB)<\/b>, we are co-developing impact measurement tools focusing on effective cash-plus interventions for B40 youth.<\/span><\/p>

To qualify for the RM3,000 grant, participants must complete <\/span>five programme components<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>

  1. 3-day in-person financial literacy bootcamp<\/b>
    <\/b><\/li>
  2. Daily financial diary<\/b> and <\/span>weekly reflections<\/b> for 3 months<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  3. Monthly online coaching<\/b> sessions for 3 months<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  4. Community project<\/b>: 8 hours of financial-literacy-themed activities benefiting at least 20 individuals<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  5. Final presentation<\/b> showcasing their learning journey and RM3,000 financial plan<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ol>

    By equipping students with essential knowledge, skills, and support, the programme aims to strengthen their financial management practices. The grant serves as a savings catalyst, helping participants navigate university life and early adulthood with greater financial confidence.<\/span><\/p>
