Empowering A Safer Generation on the Road

The VIA Safe Mobility Programme is a global initiative spanning 40 countries by the TotalEnergies Foundation and the Michelin Foundation, with Arus Academy serving as the country implementing partner. The programme addresses the critical issue of road safety by empowering students to transition from vulnerable road users to proactive Safe Mobility Ambassadors and agents of change.

Through a blend of digital education and hands-on advocacy, we hope to foster a sustained culture of safety and empower the next generation to protect their communities.

The VIA Digital Platform is an interactive learning space hosted on DELIMa, consisting of engaging educational modules. To support school-wide implementation, curated resources such as the Teacher’s Guide and Student’s Journal are also provided. The content is developed specially for students between 10–18 years old, enabling them to conduct real-world risk assessments and develop safety recommendations—with the prestigious opportunity to compete globally for a trip to Paris, France.

Since its inception in 2023, the programme has reached more than 4,000 students across Malaysia. By transforming road safety from a textbook topic into a student-led movement, we help the leaders of tomorrow stay safe on the roads today.
