In Malaysia, thousands of children from marginalised communities are deprived of access to formal education due to their legal status, socioeconomic barriers, and systemic challenges.
Without structured learning opportunities, these children face limited prospects for future employment and financial independence.
Our solutions
Sekolah Buku Jalanan Chow Kit (BJCK) x Arus Academy is a pioneering model school dedicated to providing quality education to children from marginalised communities in the heart of Chow Kit.
By adopting a project-based learning approach, the school provides students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that equip them with essential critical thinking, problem-solving & life skills – preparing them for future opportunities beyond the classroom.
In addition, as financial instability affects the lives of our students and their families, we integrate financial literacy not only as part of the school culture and reward system but also as a main theme and learning goals mapped to the national curriculum.
